Video Author Visits: The California Center for the Book is sponsoring a series of Video Author Visits allowing authors to pay virtual visits to communities around the state. In most cases, authors go to KCET Public Television in Los Angeles, from where their presentations are shared via interactive videoconferencing with public and school libraries elsewhere in California. Videoconferencing Adventures: A site from the Pacific Bell Knowledge Network Now you've got videoconferencing, now you're wondering "who ya gonna call?" Check this out! Education Content Providers: Today many schools, museums, cultural institutions, associations and even ships are installing fully interactive videoconferencing. The ability to make connections, share content, culture and knowledge has never before been so easy and extensive. The Content Provider working list is provided as an example of nearly 200 potential knowledge providers to enrich the education experience. This list is compiled by Polycom and is in PDF format.
